President’s Letter – October 2025
Dear Cambria Neighbors,
Our September luncheon presentation called, “Songwriter at Play” featuring Steve Key, was a lovely experience. Attendees were captivated by Steve’s soulful performance and engaging storytelling, delivered in a folk music style reminiscent of Woody Guthrie, with an authentic Americana flair. His original songs, drawn from his lived experiences, resonated with us because his life’s timeline is also mostly our own. This was a unique opportunity and we’re very grateful for Steve’s time and willingness to add his own brand of musical and storytelling grace to our event.
As we make exciting progress in filling our 2026 board positions, we still have an opening for one of you to step into the vital role of Programs Chair. This position is a chance to shape our club’s luncheon presentations and bring engaging, meaningful experiences to our community. If you have a passion for organizing and creating memorable programs, we’d love to have you join the board and contribute your unique talents. Please consider this opportunity to make a lasting impact on our club. For more details or to express interest, feel free to reach out to Kathi Harper or to me at your earliest opportunity.
